French Stripes and Precious Stones

For months I imagined all the samples I’d rack up on. All the nail artists, manufacturers, and other professionals I’d meet. While the show was fun (minus the aggressive crowd) I didn’t do any of those things.

There were a limited number of nail-related booths (outnumbered by far by hair companies) but I did get a deal on China Glaze, which I’ve been searching NYC for for months (6 for $15). I also spotted some cool nail art. 

Oh, one of the highlights of the convention was the woman below. Very rarely do you see older, mature ladies with nail art. Well, this one had to be in her mid-50s and she went all out with her nails. RESPECT!

There were a number of characters at the show, including this guy. French manis never looked so good.

P.S. For all you Moroccanoil fanatics, they were selling it for $20 a bottle. Nice!
